ABOUT US

The Byrd Young Leader's School is trying to help children of brick kiln workers who are unable to access education. Many of their parents are working as bonded laborers, and do not want their children to go to school, preferring them to work and contribute to the family’s income. By providing these services, we make the parents aware of the need to send their children to school.

Children are the major victims of a lack of education as they are not enrolled in schools and, instead, work to pay off family debts.

There is also a lack of schools near the villages and the Education Department makes little effort to enroll children of laborers.

Donate to help the children of brick kiln bonded laborers. Also, please share our cause with others. Let's make an impact!
